Hype indeed is hip in America. “Down with encouraged memory” should
be a national program, as we drown in a sea of facile exaggerations.
And shame on Dan for not exposing that TV celeb doing his enabled
best poisoning public discourse. If we can’t count on one of our
esteemed biographers, whom can we believe?
